We are advocating for Black business incubators, on the national, state, and local level. To create supportive environments for Black entrepreneurs that can stimulate local economic growth, foster innovation, and address the funding disparities that inhibit Black-owned businesses.
On the local level, we strongly advocate for infrastructure improvements to ensure that Black communities receive equitable access to essential services and resources, which is critical for fostering economic development and enhancing quality of life.
We are pushing for more funding for local community garden programs to promote food sovereignty and environmental sustainability, empowering Black communities to reclaim agency over their food sources and improve local nutrition.
We are advocating for reformative gang prevention and intervention initiatives in state and local ordinace to address the root causes of gang involvement, providing youth with constructive alternatives and support systems that contribute to community safety and well-being.
To combat food security within impoverished areas, we are advocating for establishing Black Restaurant Funds on the national, state, and local levels to enhance food quality within Black communities by supporting local culinary businesses, which contributes to economic resilience and the preservation of cultural heritage through food.
